About this mix, KPer wanna say something:
When I was a kid l loved Kinder Surprise. The whole 'never know
what you're gonna get feeling'. Putting this mix together somehow
reminded me of that, mainly because I ended up going all over with it,
beats to disco, house-y things to ragga and electro.
You're never quite sure what you're getting next. Some new, some old,
some unreleased, all stuff I've been feeling a lot recently.
Kper is the alias of Laurent Fintoni, a French/Italian national,
adopted Londoner and spiritually Japanese. By day he works in online publishing,
by night he's a music journo/editor/radio presenter/DJ at large. He's DJed all over
the place and held residencies in London and Tokyo. He curates and presents shows on
Rhythm Incursions every month (http://www.rhythm-incursions.com), looks after
Turntable Radio (http://www.turntableradio.com) and writes for FACT magazine,
Serie B, ATM, and others.
He's also the founder and co-organiser of Original Cultures (http://www.originalcultures.org)
a non-profit project that connects cultures through modern performing arts, running cultural
laboratories and events in Italy and the UK. You should check all the sites cos they're nice like.
