This week, one of my favorite producer in 2010: Huess.
Supporeted by the brand new label & blog
INAUDIBLE ANSWER, I felt in love with this EP
called "I'D RATHER BE THE HUNTER".I knwo that today,
people like this new-wonky-glitchy hip hop, because of
huge producers like Flying Lotus, Ras G, Mark Pritchard,
and more...but please remember that before al that
post J Dilla times, people like Dabrye or Prefuse 73 was
already here, rockin with new beats & interesting chopped
sample styles, using the groove as a production key.

You probably ask now why I go into that diection?
Because this producer here, Huess, remind me, with
his own style, that cool time of Prefuse 73, Dj Shadow,
Malcom Kipe, Broadcast, even post rock like Tortoise and
lovely deep soul music.
Rhodes, soulful drums, tape sound & beautiful ambiances
are Huess'world.Utilising a cut and paste combination
of both obscure and familiar samples, live instruments
and crunching beats, Huess is building a repertoire of
music that sounds like the work of a unique voice.
His tunes evolves from it’s jazz-inflected intro into
an insistent atmospheric head-nodder that I'm sure
you gonna dig directly.

Previously only available for download, ‘I'd Rather Be the Hunter’
and 'Gak' will soon be available on INAUDIBLE ANSWER as a
vinyl release featuring remixes from Kelpe, wich feature in this
"How they fall" Mixette by Huess, and Fulgeance.

Huess will remix my I LUV U track on the forthcoming
GLAMOURE EP, soon on Musique Large.
